A-Hub

SMS Consent & Opt-In

Effective: September 6, 2026

A-Hub is software built and operated by One 2 One Inc. Two separate text-message programs run through it. They have different senders, different audiences and separate consent records, and this page describes both.

  • Salon guest messaging — texts a salon sends to its own guests from the salon's own local number: appointment confirmations and reminders, verification codes for booking online, and, separately, offers and news.
  • Employee operational notifications — texts A-Hub sends to salon staff about their own time clock and time-off requests. No guest ever receives one of these.

Salon guest messaging

Who sends it. Avalon Salon & Spa, using A-Hub as its software. Messages come from the salon's own local phone number, not from a number belonging to A-Hub. You can reach Avalon Salon & Spa on 541-306-6222.

Appointment messages and verification codes

These are the texts about a guest's own visit: booking confirmations, reminders before an appointment, the reply when a guest texts the salon back, and the one-time code sent when a guest signs in to book online. They are sent only to a guest who has given the salon their mobile number for that purpose.

How a guest opts in.By giving their mobile number when they book — at the front desk, on the phone, or on the salon's online booking form, which shows this before the number is used:

By providing your mobile number you agree to receive appointment-related text messages from us — confirmations, reminders, and changes to your visit. Consent is not a condition of booking. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts, or HELP for help.

Consent is not a condition of booking. A guest who would rather not be texted can say so and the salon books them anyway.

Frequency.Variable, and tied to the guest's own appointments — typically a small number of messages per visit (a confirmation, a reminder, and any reply to something the guest sent). There is no recurring schedule.

Message and data rates may apply. A wireless carrier may charge for incoming texts depending on the plan. Neither the salon nor A-Hub charges for messages.

Sample messages. The wording is set by the salon and the bracketed parts are filled in with the guest's own visit. These are the templates in use:

{{service_name}} with {{provider_name}}, {{appointment_date}} at {{appointment_time}}. Please give 24 hours' notice. Need to change it? Reply to this text, or reschedule or cancel here: {{link}} {{salon_name}}

See you tomorrow: {{service_name}} with {{provider_name}} at {{appointment_time}}. Late changes and no-shows are charged. Need to change it? Reply to this text, or reschedule or cancel here: {{link}} {{salon_name}}

{{salon_name}}: Your upcoming appointment is confirmed. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out.

{{salon_name}}: your verification code is 123456. If you did not request it, ignore this message. Reply STOP to opt out.

Offers and news

Promotional texts — specials, seasonal offers, salon news — are a separate program with a separate opt-in. Nothing promotional is sent to a guest who has not signed up for it in writing. Giving the salon a phone number to book an appointment is not a sign-up for offers.

How a guest opts in.By signing up on the salon's text-offers page (reached from a QR code on a card at the salon or a link on the salon's website), or by asking at the front desk, where the same wording is read to them and recorded. The exact language they agree to is stored with the sign-up, along with the date, the version of the wording and the device it came from. The wording in use today is:

I agree to receive recurring marketing and promotional text messages (e.g. offers and salon updates) from Avalon Salon & Spa at the phone number provided. Up to 4 msgs/month. Message & data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. See avalonbend.com/sms-terms for terms.

A guest who signs up is asked to confirm by text before the program sends them anything else. Until they confirm, no promotional text is sent.

Frequency. Variable. Promotional texts are occasional and are capped; a guest never receives a run of them.

Message and data rates may apply.

Sample message. Offer wording is written by the salon. A typical one reads:

Hi {{first_name}}, We have openings for {{matched_service}} on {{open_day}} at {{salon_name}}, and we would love to see you. Reply or call and it is yours. Reply STOP to opt out

Employee operational notifications

A-Hub is also an internal employee operations portal. Employees do not sign up through a public form. They are invited by their employer and create their account at sign-in. During their first login, every employee is presented with a consent screen that includes an SMS opt-in checkbox.

How employees opt in

At first login, the employee sees the consent screen below and must actively check the SMS consent box to enable text notifications. Consent is recorded with a timestamp, the policy version, and the user's IP and device. Employees can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by updating their notification preferences in their A-Hub profile.

Consent language shown at employee opt-in

By checking the SMS consent box, employees agree to receive SMS messages from A-Hub. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Reply HELP for help.

What we send

Account and operational notifications only, such as missed-punch reminders and time-off request status updates. We do not send marketing or promotional messages under this program.

Sample messages

  • "A-Hub: You have a missed punch from Mon 6/2. Review and correct it at a-hub.app. Reply STOP to opt out."
  • "A-Hub: Your time-off request for 6/14 was approved. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out."

Stopping messages, and getting help

This applies to both programs above, guests and employees alike.

  • To stop: reply STOP to any message. STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE and OPTOUT work the same way. The opt-out is recorded immediately and covers every text on that program — offers and appointment messages alike. The carrier sends the confirmation; no further messages follow it.
  • To start again: reply START or UNSTOP.
  • For help: reply HELP or INFO. A guest texting a salon receives a reply in this form:
{{salon_name}}: For appointment help, call us at {{salon_phone}}. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Msg & data rates may apply.
  • The opt-out line. Every promotional text carries one. Appointment texts carry one on the first message sent to a number in a rolling 24-hour window, and again whenever a guest texts STOP, START or HELP. It is always one of a fixed set of wordings: “Reply STOP to opt out”; “Reply STOP to opt out anytime”; “Reply STOP to unsubscribe”; “Reply STOP to cancel”; “Reply STOP to end these reminders”; “Reply STOP to stop these messages”; “Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help”; “Text STOP to opt out”; “Text STOP to cancel”; “Text STOP to stop these messages”. Any of them may be followed by “Msg & data rates may apply.”
  • Choosing rather than stopping.Every email a guest receives carries a “Manage preferences” link. It opens a page where the guest can turn visit reminders and receipts, and offers and news, on or off separately for text and for email — without stopping everything.
